Located in Churu district of Rajasthan, Tal Chapper Sanctuary is 80 kms away from Mandawa village of Shekhawati. The sanctuary covers an area of 1334 sq kms. The main attraction of the sanctuary is rare species of black bucks.
The best time to visit Tal Chapper Sanctuary is from November to April. Migratory birds visit this sanctuary in winter and the migratory birds seen in winter are montagur's, marsh harrier, pale harrier, imperial eagle, tawny eagle, short toed eagle, sparrow hawk, skylark, crested lark, ring drove, brown dove, blue jay, green bee eaters, black ibis and demoiselle cranes.
How to Reach:The nearest airport to reach Tal Chapper is Jaipur. Reaching Jaipur, one can take train to Tal Chapper.
