Bird lovers from across the globe visit the Bharatpur Bird sanctuary, one of the finest bird sanctuaries of the world.
This sanctuary is also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park and the sanctuary was founded by the Maharaja of Bharatpur in 1890. It covers an area of 232 sq kms and the entire area is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Around 300 species of bird are found in this park.
