Before touring the Indian state Rajasthan one must have a clear idea on the climate change of this semi-desert state during the year. The Climate period of Rajasthan is divided into four seasons such as summer, monsoon, post monsoon and winter.
Summer Climate: The summer season covers from the month of April to June. Summer is the hottest season in Rajasthan and the temperature during this season ranges from 35 degree C to 48 degree C. Only the hill station, Mount Abu gets low temperature due to its high altitude.
Monsoon Climate: The Monsoon period starts in July and continues till September. It is the season of moderate temperature yet a season of high humidity. About 90% rainfall is got by Rajasthan during this period.
Post-Monsoon Climate: The post monsoon period covers the month from October to November. This is one of the best seasons to visit Rajasthan. The average highest temperature during this season is about 30 degree and the lowest is about 18-20 degree.
Winters climate: The winter season falls between the months of December to March. This is the best season to visit the semi-desert Rajasthan. January is the coolest month in Rajasthan with lowest temperature of 0 degree C in some areas of the state.
