There are five Jain temples in Mount Abu.
Vimal Vashi Temple: Vimal Vashi Temple is the main temple of the Dilwara group made of white marble. This temple is dedicated to first Jain Trithankara (teacher or guide) named Adinath. It is said that it took 14 years to complete the construction of the temple and the cost of the building is around 180.5 million. It is built in middle of an open courtyard. The motifs drawn on the ceiling of the temple are the petals of lotus buds, flowers, petals and picture from Hindu and Jain mythology.
Luna Vasahi Temple: Luna Vasahi Temple is dedicated to the 22nd Jain Trithankara Sri Neminath Ji. The building cost of the temple was patronized by two brothers namely Tejpal and Vastupal. A central dome is hanging in the main hall of the temple.
The other temples of Dilwara Jain temples are Pittalhar Temple, Parshvanatha Temple and Mahavir Swami Temple. Tourists while planning a tour to the only hill station of Rajasthan must explore the Dilwara Jain temples.
